AtmosUSA X Jordan Brand

Many of us can resonate with the idea of something being passed down and getting better with time, especially when it comes to collecting sneakers. When Jordan Brand announced the release of the ‘Heirloom Jordan 1’, a shoe that celebrates just that, I had no doubt that something special needed to be done. I had the opportunity to work with the Atmos team on a Launch Strategy and later deliverables that would soon come to life.

This is a shoe with a concept that serves the community. As does Down North Pizza. A Black-owned pizzeria with not only a reputation for Amazing pies but also redemption. With a majority formerly incarcerated workforce. Down North Pizza is all about second chances, generational shifts, and quality products. The perfect partner for The Heirloom Jordan 1 launch.

We shot an editorial to give our audience a true look at the parallels that the two entities draw.

Atmos Philadelphia also hosted a Meet the Collectors Party for the Air Jordan 1 ‘Heirloom.’

150+ guests attended the event on an RSVP basis. Guests spent their evening socializing with fellow collectors while dining on various Pies catered by Down North Pizza and Lemonades handmade by SimplyGoodTreats. A wide selection of vintage Air Jordans curated by Common Ground Consignment was on display alongside a Jordan 1 build-out. Pitching in on the event curation and acting as a liaison between Common Ground and Atmos was an experience that I'm glad to have been a part of.

The event embodied the feeling of a class reunion, catching up and connecting with old friends while synonymously meeting some new ones. Truly embracing the Heirloom concept.
